This is the most common end cap used with silicone-extruded Neon LED strips. It’s a separate piece of silicone that is glued to the cut end of the strip to seal out water and dust, ensuring the strip maintains its IP67 waterproof rating.This method requires manual gluing and is often used in custom-length installations.

Integral End Cap
Also known as a pre-formed solid end cap, this type is co-extruded during manufacturing as part of the neon strip itself. There are no joints or glued seams, which gives it superior durability, waterproof integrity, and a sleeker look. It’s ideal for professional installations that demand maximum reliability and aesthetics.

Solder-Free End Cap
This cap allows for quick connection to the strip without soldering, using a mechanical connector inside the cap. It’s ideal for fast on-site installations or for users without soldering skills. Note that not all neon models support this—usually designed for specific plug-and-play series.

Front Cable Entry
The cable exits straight from the end of the neon strip in the same direction as the light. This is the most common wiring method, ideal for linear installations or long runs where the strip continues in a straight path.

Side Cable Entry
The cable comes out perpendicularly from the side of the strip body. This allows for easier wiring in tight spaces, or where the strip must hug a wall or edge with limited rear access.

Bottom Cable Entry
The cable exits directly downward from the underside of the strip. This provides a clean, hidden wiring solution, perfect when the neon strip is surface-mounted and you want to conceal the cable entirely behind or under the mounting surface.
